High School Division:
Order of the Knight - Brendan Hulegaard

From the moment he arrived at the championship, Brendan looked for ways to help. He quickly went to work setting up boards. He mentored a group of first time Blitz players in the first tournament event. Then, he offered to play bughouse with someone who arrived without a bughouse buddy. While playing, he helped out the littlest bughouse quad players fill our their score sheet and answered their many questions. During the championship he had a great attitude and supported his team mates at every opportunity. What a great chess player!

Elementary Division
Tristen Lee- Elementary Advanced U800 STATE CHAMPION!

Primary Division
Chase Wilcox - Primary Intermediate STATE CHAMPION!

Connor Thorud had a 275 point rating increase this year!
